Contact Manager

The contact manager is an online Rolodex® which will log contacts made through your website and can be used with our Internet Flyers service to store email and contact information for sending iFlyers. The service provides tools for editing, adding, sorting and exporting of contact information.

1. How Do I View Contacts?

  • Click on the house at the bottom of your homepage and log into the Admin Menu
  • Click on the Contact Manager link from the Advanced Options section.
  • You can sort/filter your contacts as show below
  • 1- Sort By Name
    - Click on NAME- Then click on the letter for the last name.
    - Choose from- A to Z or All to view all contacts.
  • 2- Sort By Zip Code
    - Click on ZIP- Then click on the Zip Code to view.
    - Choose from the zip code list displayed.
  • 3- Sort By Flag or Custom Group
    - Click on FLAG- Sorts by Color Flag or Custom Named group.
    - Choose from the color list displayed.
    - or Click on the custom named group title.
  • 4- Sort By List Category (Agents, Buyers, Sellers, Personal Guest, Contest )
    - Click on LIST- Then click on the list you want to view.
    - Choose from- Agents, Buyers, Sellers, Personal, Guest, Contest.
  • 5- Search By Name or Email Address
    - Click Search and select Email, Name or Both
    - Enter the name or email address and click the GO button.
     
  • 6- To view ALL contacts click on "ALL" any time.

2. Add/Edit/Delete Contacts

  • Click on the house at the bottom of your homepage and log into the Admin Menu
  • In the Advanced Options section click on the "Contact Manager" link.
  • Add New Contact- Click on the Add New Contact button at the bottom of the page to add a new contact.
  • Edit Contact- Click on the "edit" link just below the contact name to edit the contact information.
  • Delete Contact- First, click on the "edit" link just below the contact name to edit the contact information. Then click on the "Delete Record" button at the bottom of the contact page.

3. Setting Up Sorts/Filters

Filters can be used in conjunction with sending iFlyers or to sort data / contacts.

  • Click on the house at the bottom of your homepage and log into the Admin Menu
  • Click on the Contact Manager link from the Advanced Options section.
  • Edit Contact- Click on the "edit" link just below the contact name to edit the contact information.

List Filtering- Select the list category from the List pull down menu.(upper right side of form)
Choices include- Agents, Buyers, Sellers, Personal, Guest and Contest.
This setting can be used to filter your contacts using the LIST sort feature noted in topic 1 above.

Custom Named Group Filtering- Create your own custom named groups.
Under the Group Flag pull down menu you will find a black entry field entitled Add Named Flag.
Enter the name of the group you would like to add.
After making all updates to the contact click Save Changes.
Your new named group will be added to the group pull down menu and will be available for selection with other contacts in your Contact Manager.
This setting can be used to filter your contacts using the FLAG sort feature noted in topic 1 above

Color Group Flag Filtering- Select a grouping color from the Group Flag pull down menu. (lower left side of form)
Choices include- Blue, Red, Green and Purple.

Removing Color Group Flags- Clear your color group flags.

  • Click on the house at the bottom of your homepage and log into the Admin Menu
  • Click on the Contact Manager link from the Advanced Options section.
  • Click on the "Flag" link from the top of the page.
  • Select a flag color from the Show section at the top of the page.
    Note, if no colored flags are set, you will not have a color flag to choose from. Clearing color flags is not necessary.
  • After selecting a color flag, select Clear Flags at the bottom of the page.
  • Select the colored flags to clear.

These filter settings will be available when using Internet Flyers to sort and filter contacts for sending iFlyers too.

4. Exporting Data From Contact Manager
You can export data from your online contact manager which can then be imported to other programs.
We do not offer support for importing your data to other programs.

Export options include:

Excel Spreadsheet
Tab Delimited
Comma Delimited
  • To export or download your contact list
  • Click on the house at the bottom of your homepage and log into the Admin Menu
  • Click on the Contact Manager link from the Advanced Options section.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the "Download" button.
  • Click on the appropriate button to choose the format you wish to export your contacts in.
    NOTE: "Tab Delimited" and "Comma Delimited" files will be saved in text (.txt) file format by default.
  • Select Save File.
